Appointment of District Grand Master

The death, in January, of Right Illustrious Companion David Malcolm Cordell had a significant impact on the Orders of which he was a member but particularly the Order of Royal & Select Masters in which he was the District Grand Master for West Yorkshire. David was very much a gentle man and a gentleman who will be sorely missed by us all, but his legacy will be a lasting tribute to the work he carried out while in office.

It is now time to look to the future. The process of choosing a successor has been concluded and we are delighted to inform you that the Grand Master, Most Illustrious Companion Kessick John Jones, has been pleased to appoint Ill.Comp. Fraser McPherson, P.A.G.D.C. to be the next District Grand Master for West Yorkshire.

I am sure you will all join with me in congratulating Ill.Comp. Fraser on his appointment and wish him well for the future. He will be installed on Saturday, 1 August 2020 if the current restrictions arising from the spread of the coronavirus have been lifted.
